About Our Shop

We aim to make shopping a pleasant and fun experience, from the time you come in until the time you check out. When we hear the jingle of our door, one of us from the front register will greet you and tell you the monthly discounted color. 

As you navigate the shop, please notice the many signs about our merchandise. At check out, we will give you the option to round up to the next dollar for our nonprofits. Your purchases will be bagged up as you'd like, and we will ask you if you'd like a receipt. 

Our dressing room is open and available for your use; please return unwanted items to the racks. You will find that we have women's and men's clothes intermingled, just like real life! 

Flying Pig Thrift has three rooms for your shopping experience. The front room contains our artists' work, some half priced items, jewelry, books, purses, glassware, small furniture, jeans and jackets, and household items. Our check out display case contains special treasures; make sure you take a peek! The middle room contains most of our clothes, small furniture, kitchenware, shoes, linens, baby gear, toys, records, more books and framed art. The bargain contains bargains, most at 99 cents: records, shoes, kitchenware, toys and other markdowns. 

As you will see, we have a great variety in our shop. Don't hesitate to ask for a particular item; one of us can try to locate it on the floor for you, and even check our basement for recent donations.
